There are plenty of sideplots in TA2 that are better written, but they’re understandably shorter. FFTA2’s main storyline isn’t as well written as FFTA’s. There are a couple of characters that return from TA, but the more part of the characters are new. FFTA2 is a lot more integrated with FFXII than FFTA.
